Well we have been doing well trying to keep the podcast coming out as on schedule as possible. The only problem is that Souls computer got bombarded with loads of virus’ that meant that we have had to format her entire computer and thus we are in the process of installing everything now. This means that this episode will be out on tuesday or wednesday at the latest due to us not being able to edit the podcast today and tomorrow.
The new episode is a takeover podcast, this week it’s not just me and Soul it’s also Stoned Wombat, Korean Thug and Langford (ish) talking about The Survivors, The Spitter and the new Left 4 Dead DLC packs. Sorry about the lateness but i hope that it will be worth the wait (damn you Rise of Legends!!!).
Today’s episode is the final of the features which talks about the campaigns of Left 4 Dead 2. This week has a video supplement with it which is the Survivors Diary quarantine but the actual discussion on it can be found within the podcast. I have nothing major to add to the description other that this episode mentions something new on the horizon for the Survivors Diary.

Well we’re back after Xmas time and new year to bring you our first podcast of the new year. We hope that you enjoy it.
Before i post the show notes i want to identify something that is discussed within the podcast, and that is other gaming communities. We are looking for eople to set up their own seperate communities and article areas for other games such as Killing Floor or Borderlands, similar to how we have the fortress we are looking for some other games to have that kind of support. If you are willing to run the website then get in contact with either me or soul via Private Message on the forum. You will need to let us know what game you wish to support, what you’d like to call the website and we can get talking about the website and stuff like that.
So we are back with the last episode of this year. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed over the year towards the podcast in their many unique ways. Especially to those who have taken part in community events and have made the Survivors Diary such a great place to be. We hope to carry this on into the new year with some changes coming to the website and some developments in the way of content and much much more.

Episode brings us up to the next chapter of our Left 4 Dead 2 Campaign Discussion this time we discuss Dark Carnival (DCa). The map of the week video will be out in the morning so check the homepage for when that comes out. The show notes are a little bare this week but thats due to the fact that what we have to talk about fills out the need for show notes and what once filled the show is now just released seperate from the podcast. Also with the shoutouts this week we have some of the outtakes from the recording session for some more lolz. Following the release of Left 4 Dead 2 we start a whole new bunch of Features, this weeks is the first campaign of Left 4 Dead 2: Dead Center.
We do not have a map review video with this weeks episode, that should be coming out next week, we’re still new to producing videos in this format so we’re still working out how to get everything sorted. The advantage is that you get some fresh content next week.
1 year today, the survivors diary released its first podcast. it first started out as an experiment and we didn’t think we would still be going after this length of time. this was our first ever podcast and thinks to our community and their advice, we’re slowly learning and expanding.
to commemorate this day, we want to try and take the Z list reach that crucial 1 million mark through as much l4d playing as our eyes can take. if you want in just play and kill some zombies and your zlist stats will be updated… if you don’t have a zlist account, then why the hell not?! its free and it supports l4d2.
so thank you to everyone who has played with us, listened to us, supported us… and most importantly spammed our forums.
So we are back with some more podcasting Left 4 Deadness. This week we are breaking into a new style of doing Maps, we’re doing them video style. We found that doing reviews as purley audio was not really any good at truly justifying the map without playing it. So we decided that it was time that we moved into making this something for you to watch whilst eating your breakfast. Another good reason for this is that some people listen to the podcast just for the map and they usually don’t listen to the whole podcast because they cannot be bothered to wait for it.
Once again some things go bad with audio, there was some problems with North Surrey which was sent in my Korean Thug, there is some very strange but with Audacity that we cannot seem to fix and get the audio back for that. And we would also like to appologise to Airon who provided us with some help cleaning up the audio and went it came to actually attempting to sort it out we ran out of time to ask questions before being late with podcast releases. I will be sending a bunch of questions to him when i get a chance about sorting out the audio properly.
So its Halloween and we have a surprise mini-podcast for you. In this episode we discuss Left 4 Dead 2 based on what we’ve seen from the demo that was released on Wednesday. Along with this weeks podcast we also have a video which shows our adventures within the new game from Valve. We will be returning next Monday (November 6th) with another Episode of the Survivors Diary Podcast.

We’re here to give you another dose of some Left 4 Dead podcasting! This week however the recording of the community section became corrupted and we were not able to retrieve it or re-record it. So we have no community section this week because of this. However we do have what we were going to talk about below. We also have no North Surrey this week as there was some mix up with emails but the next episode of that should be coming next week. Sorry about that.
So this one is pushing Tuesday but we haven’t slept yet so we still count it as Monday. Sorry about how long it’s taken to get this out but we have been mega busy, uni is back in and so editing was slow. We had one heck of a busy weekend as well, next time we should be closer to monday than tuesday. Anyway this week we have a jam packed show, loads of stuff as well as a new section: Welcome to North Surrey. This is a new section of the podcast which we are introducing based on a thread by Sandman, its a forum RPG and we are reading out the stories. We hope that this does very well and becomes very popular and so we can release it seperate to the podcast but for now its part of the Podcast. Enjoy
